Research & Data Analytics Careers

Work to create a successful future

Research and data analytics careers are critical to helping State Farm® make sound, data-driven business decisions.

Research career

Our research team provides information collected from experimental design, statistical analysis, data reduction, sampling techniques, surveys, and focus groups. We place an emphasis on newly collected data to complement and support existing information so we can inform and guide our different audiences.

Researchers monitor domestic and international competition, support loss mitigation activities, provide advice, and consult on proper research methodologies and techniques. We help Agency and Human Resources create effective ways to recruit and keep talented individuals. We’re also regularly called on to examine non-insurance issues such as customer satisfaction and employment test development.

Data analytics career

Our teams build solutions that provide benefits to State Farm customers and business departments. Specifically, we turn data into actionable insights by leveraging a combination of Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or other data science tools and concepts.
